Atrixo event: scones and makeovers

hello hello, how are you? hello hello, its good to see you....anyone with a toddler ((child, sibling, niece/nephew, or maybe you just know a toddler)), should know that song. anyway, so two weeks ago, i went to a event for Atrixo. I wasn't too familiar with the brand, but i was excited to find out exactly what they are about and what fun things we would get up to at the event. When we (me, Ally, Vanese and Ellie) arrived the building looked so beautiful and the decor was amazing. We walked into the room and we were a little bit late, so they had already started with a sewing class. I can't sew to save my life, but its definitely something that I would love to learn someday. Ally and Vanese and Ellie got hair and face makeovers and I tried a red lip. I wasn't a big fan of the shade of red on me, because i felt like it was too bright for my skin tone. I would prefer a darker red with my skin tone otherwise I just look like a clown. Its still a beautiful colour, just not for me. The champers was flowing and there was loads of cute (not-so-diet-friendly) treats. I tried a scone for the 1st time and i LOVED it. But sadly i won't get that bikini body by eating scones all day, but its nice as a lil treat for yourself. All in all, it was a great night and i really enjoyed myself.

So, as there wasn't enough goodie bags to give to everyone, I was sent some of the products and we also could choose a few of the products they had out on the table aswell.

I'm not really someone who likes to try out new creams because i have eczema and the littlest thing could really irritate my skin. (boo)
I got 3 different types of cream:
Regenerating Treatment with Panthenol
Moisturing Cream with Camomile (in a small tub and squeeze tube)
Intensive Protection Cream with Aloe Vera

Out of all the creams, my favourite is definitely the Regenerating Treatment because it makes my hands feel all moisturized without it feeling sticky and gross. If you have dry skin, is would be the cream for you. It really tackles those problem areas and is all like 'hey you, you will be dry no more'. I like all the products but the this one works the best for my skin.

have you used Atrixo before? are you like in love with scones?

what i did and wore today: dogtooth & love

Hola, bonjour, yo wassaaaap...hey, you beautiful people, so today i decided to go outside onto the giant ice-rink and go into town to get a few bits and bobs. I really am not someone to brave cold weather just to get a few things, but i also really needed to just walk about a bit and clear my cray cray head.

i decided to buy a new nail varnish to add to my ever growing collection. I lurrrrve different shades of (grey) reds and purples. I love the way those colours look with my skin tone and its just super cute.

I decided to get Barry M in 'Raspberry'. I apologize for my horrible nail painting. I'm a very messy nail painter and this picture was taken after i tried to clean it up a bit (oops)
I reallyyyy love this colour and its a really cute 'wintery' colour.

Striped shirt - once again that old chestnut, my mums old wardrobe

Boots - Office - *unknown price*

thoughts on the outfit? are you a messy nails now, tidy up around the edges and/or basically the whole finger later person?

Heyyyyy beauts, soo i'm determined to blog more often because i really do love it and i dont know why i don't do it often but new year, new me and all that. soo here's a cheeky outfit of the day :-)

I really want to get more pairs of converse because i used to LOVE them, then i stopped, then i started again, then it got too cold, now i just don't pay attention to the weather. OOTD: it takes me all the way, i want you to stay

okay, soooo i know i haven't blogged in forever *slap on the wrist...or bum* (cheeky) but the other day i had to quickly rush out and i chucked this outfit on and i really liked it. So, i call  this outfit 'cheeky quick outfit which kinda works so maybe i should rush all my outfits'

Plaid Shirt - Rokit - unknown price
Spiked Necklace (which i know you cant really see, but its this one) - Pop Couture - £8
Grey Leggings with Pleather Panel - Primark - £3 (did someone say BAR-GAIN?)
Brown Chelsea Boots - Primark - £15

Sooooo, I've mentioned before that i lurrrrrrrrve me some plaid/tartan. I just love the way that it makes a statement and i'm all about statements.
I adore these leggings with the pleather panels because i just think they look soo cute and work well with a lot of outfits. you can wear them with a cropped top and heels for a night out or a baggy jumper/shirt for a more casual look. Leather/Pleather is bang on trend right now and i would defo recommend adding a bit of pleather to your wardrobe. Missguided.co.uk do some uhh-maze ones here and boohoo.com have some PU leggings here. PU/pleather/wet look leggings are like designed for people to have a little struggle whilst getting dressed. I don't actually own a pair, because i wanna have some boom-boom pow legs to show off in those leggings, but i tried some on recently and the struggle was real. *apply baby powder/butter/oil before putting on these leggings*...o k don't..or maybe you like that kinda stuff...

Hope you've all had an amaze Christmas and eaten enough food to last you until easter ;)
